Mrs. Nettie's 3's AM/PM Classes

We have had a blast in our classroom these past few months! We've learned about dinosaurs, ponds, things that go, Valentines & Friendship, opposites, fruits & veggies, monsters, and so much more! From creating patterns to learning new letters and numbers, here is a peek into our classroom and all that we do!

Our Valentine's Day Celebration...

         

During Vegetable Week, we painted patterns with carrots and celery. Also, we created ears of corn with dried corn kernels.

Pre-K in Mrs. Nicole's Ranch Room

 

The Ranch classes have been having an amazing Spring!  We’ve been doing lots of exciting things like going on our fieldtrip to Fry’s Food Store, having Dads come in for Donuts for Dads and we even visited the Zoo before Spring Break!

Corresponding to our “G” week we visited our local grocery store to learn all about eating healthy and taking good care of our bodies.  We got to pick out our own healthy food from all the different food groups…

 

…We pet a LOBSTER!!!

 

We even got to go into the refrigerated section and the deep freeze!  The kids all wanted to pick out their own ice cream!!

 

As we finished our tour, each student was able to “check out” with their chosen items at the real register.  The kids really loved scanning their own items!

 

Donuts for Dads was another special day at school where the Dads came in for a sweet treat and a special craft.  We made neck ties for each Dad with memories shared from the kids.  The students then shared a special song they’d been working on with our amazing music teacher, Ms. Kim. 

Our students are always having fun in the classroom-especially since we got our own set of classroom iPads and a new laptop computer to run our Smart Board.  We dance, stretch, play alphabet games, practice writing and do math on these special devices.  Thank you to the PTO and everyone who supports our fundraising efforts year round! We love seeing the students grow and learn with today’s technology.
