Here's what's been happening in the Forest room:
Digging for dinosaurs!
Coloring Conductor's hats for "Things That Go" week.
What a cute group of children!!
Sink or float??? The kiddos love this activity!
Valentine's week.....friendships, love, hearts and lots of chocolate!
Making chocolate candies out of chocolate playdoh. It really smelled like chocolate!
Graphing with candy hearts....how many green ones do you have?
They did a great job with understanding graphing!
The best part of the day....dipping marshmallows in chocolate and rolling
it in sprinkles, crushed oreos or crushed graham crackers....or all three!
Mmmmmmmmmmmm....Chocolate! Look at that face!
Opposites week.....stencil rubbing with rough, smooth items.
We also talked about hot/cold, wet/dry, up/down, over/under, fast/slow....
and many other opposites.
Apple, apples, apples! We peeled apples with an apple peeler , tasted different apples (red, yellow, green), tried dried apples and ate apple pie. Some of them liked it, some of them didn't. Either way, it's all about trying different things and deciding whether or not you like it.
Vegetable week was full of different veggies, broccoli, cauliflower, potatoes, celery, carrots, and bell peppers. We tried vegetable soup, made potato people, and vegetable craft puppets.
How much do these vegetables weigh?
Reviewing our shapes by making shape soup.
Hope you enjoyed a peek into our world at preschool. We love these kiddos and feel blessed to be able to spend time with them every week.
Love, Ms. Debbie and Ms. Theresa
