What a fun first 2 weeks we have had. The children loved playing play doh, cutting with scissors, making our projects, singing our songs and playing with the parachute. Many children had never water colored before or played with gloop so this was so much fun for them. Your children are all so sweet and are doing such a great job sharing and following the school routine.
We hope you enjoy all the pictures showing the first week of school and the all about me week.
It sure was fun getting our hands messy playing with the gloop,
play doh and shaving cream.
We really liked making new friends at play time, reading in our
quite reading area, playing in our sensory bin, doing puzzles and
playing with manipulative's.
We all worked hard counting and putting our bears on the right size in math,
learning our zoo phonic letters and the sound they make, finding our number, color and shape of the week and playing with the parachute.
All the children loved snack time, getting our hands painted, coloring, and gluing things
onto our projects at art and centers.
We are really doing a great job at tracing our names and working hard at holding our
crayon with the right grip.
As you can see we have been very busy learning
these first 2 weeks but we are having lots of fun to.
