We have been busy in December and January. We started of December with a fun trip to Schnepf's Farm! The weather was perfect and we all had a great time. We spent the week talking about farms and where our food comes from. We also got to pick our own Arugula lettuce on the farm. The kids had a great time and I am pretty sure so did most of the parents :)
We had fun Holiday Class parties! Thanks to amazing moms that came up with some really fun games. The kids loved the human Christmas tree game and they loved making doughnut snowman and also playing match the numbers not he bottom of Hershey Kisses. We even got to make our own Christmas ornaments too! It was fun and they had to put each bead on the pipe cleaner. So great for strengthening fine motor skills!
Along with having fun we also did a lot of learning these past few months as well. There has been such academic growth even these past few months. During assessments I realized how great these classes are with kids that just want to learn!
WE LOVE PUZZLES!
Student Stars get to share their favorite book with class and bring in a special toy.
We celebrate birthdays by letting them choose songs, help with snack and sharing a treat!

Tangrams help us with spatial reasoning
We are mixing colors here and making our own stained glass windows
A great way to help us learn our numbers is actually counting while we place a specific number. We are learning number 11-20.
Cutting skills are coming along great!
We earned a class ice Cream Party! How did we do this? By filling our Warm and Fuzzy Jar. We get to fill our jar by being kind, helping a friend, cleaning up nicely, using nice words and making sure we say sorry. We worked really hard to fill our jar and enjoyed our ice cream!
This week we had so much fun taking about the weather! It was perfect because it was actually rainy, cold, and sunny all in the same week!
