We are Thankful!

We had a very Thankful Thanksgiving feast before we spent two days with family and friends!  We are talking and learning about what sounds t and h make when they are put together, or as the preschoolers love to put it, having a "play date!"  We did lots of activities to learn about Thanksgiving:)  Below we are playing "Feed the Turkey" using magnets to gather letters and cross them off our list!  They loved this one!

We also loved to fill our whiteboard with all the things we are thankful for.  Some of these things included:  Mom, Dad, sisters and brothers, swimming with friends, playing soccer, baseball and football, coming to preschool, all of our toys and much, much more!  I was really impressed when they wanted to keep going even after our board was full!  These kiddos have so much thankfulness!  I am so thankful that I get to see them each and every day!
Our Thanksgiving Feast was really fun and is one of the most memorable events that we do each year.  We set up a fancy "snack" with tablecloths, fun plates, napkins and cups and we even ate by candle light (fake of course).  Enjoy some of the pictures from the Feast!

I told the preschoolers the story of the Pilgrims and the Native Americans and how they were so grateful for the help that the Native Americans gave to help the Pilgrims survive in their new land.  They made such cute Pilgrims!!!  A Huge Thank you to those who donated the items for our Feasts.  We couldn't have done it without you!
We are now looking forward to our Christmas Program on Dec. 8th, and we are practicing, practicing and practicing our songs.  I tell them that if we practice enough, and if we get a little nervous when we are on stage, our brains will know the words if we practice like crazy!  I really can't wait to see them preform!
Have a great Holiday Season!!!
