Fun in the Ocean Room with Mrs. Gretchen & Mrs. Amanda

What a SUPER fun time we have been having while learning in the Ocean room!

Taking a look back at February, one of our favorite units was the transportation unit! We had fun pretending to be on a train and even made conductor hats. We also loved matching numbers with cars and trucks and made paper airplanes!

Of course, we always love holiday parties in our classroom! Here's a few pictures from our class Valentines party.

We practiced writing our very own Valentines cards.

The students always love to see what is in our sensory bins each week and they were surprised to see it full of hearts and love this week as they got to practice their fine motor skills while using scissors to practice cutting the hearts out.

The students really loved our Monster unit. The Monster slime was one of their favorites! Most of the kids loved the slimy, gooey texture.

We even did some Monster Art!

I can't believe we are already in the last quarter of school. My students have grown and learned so much this school year. They will definitely be ready for pre-k next year!

  1. I am a mother to a kindergarten age kid and I always prefer she gets to learn at the home as well and that is why taking help from kidsfront.com is the first thing that always comes to my mind. They have fun activities, rhymes and game ideas for kids. Take a look here http://www.kidsfront.com/english/1.spelling.html.
