This week was learning all about spring and flowers. We talked about the parts of a flower, what they need to grow, and did an experiment with turning a white carnation different colors with food coloring. Spring has definitely sprung in the forest room.
Here we are checking out the flowers, working on our art and centers making our parts of a flower, fingerprint flowers and playing with many different flowers in our sensory bin.
We all enjoy doing our special classroom jobs, holding the flag, calendar, counting our friends, watering the plant, setting the table, singing our weather song, doing the letter, number and shape of the week. We have such great helpers in our classes.
We have been working hard on writing our letter M, number 8 and writing our names without our name cards.
This week we had music with Ms. Marina we have been working hard on learning the Mommy song for muffins for Moms. We also love time with our friends at snack and playtime. It was good to be back to school after our spring break. We can't believe how fast this year is going.
