We have accomplished a lot in the Ocean room over the past 3 weeks.

We had a bunny visit our classroom.  It is such a sweet bunny.

The author of "The Bedtime Fairy" came to visit our classroom.  She read her story to the children and they loved it.  It is a very cute book. 

The first 3 weeks we talked about "Our Family", "All About Me"

 and learned our classroom rules and the daily routine.

 Hermie, our class pet, has a really cool shell.

And we have all learned to get along very well!

We play while we learn and we learn while we play,

Something exciting happens in class every day!

When it's class job time, we do our best.

Making a MESS!!

We are absolutely having a ball together this year. Although we've only had a few weeks together, our class has become great friends. We are excited to see this group grow over the coming school year. Thanks to our wonderful families for all of your support.

What a great start to the new school year! Our kiddos are having a blast here in the forest room! We have a wonderful bunch of children, and I can't wait to see what the year holds for us! 

We have started our "All About Me" unit in class, and it has been so much fun getting to hear little stories and learn new tidbits about each and every child.

 Mrs. Lisa enjoys reading allowed to our class, which has been proven to promote strong reading and writing skills. "Young children who are regularly read to have a larger vocabulary, higher levels of phonological, letter name, and sound awareness, and better success at decoding words."
