Mrs. Nettie's Pre-K PM Class

Hello to all!

Hope your New Year is starting off with much Happiness. We have been enjoying the holiday spirit with some pictures from our Christmas Party. The children enjoyed hot chocolate, creating gifts for their parents, playing "pin the star on the Christmas tree", making reindeer cupcakes and much more.

Valentine's Day was a fun filled celebration with friends.

We are so excited to continue preparing for Kindergarten and focusing on a new letter each week. We are getting closer and closer to completing the alphabet. We also have enjoyed creating graphs which help us read information quickly. We have started connecting numbers with their number name and continue with pratice of number value. The children have enjoyed learning about the flag and that each star represents a state. Some of the children come from different states and have shared something they love about the state they come from. We also reviewed that the stripes in our flag represent the colonies and that we have 13 of them. We recently created a collage of children from all different cultures. You can view this in the front window of our school.

Hope you enjoyed a little insight of what is happening in our classroom.

Love,
Mrs. Nettie and Mrs. Lisa
